Boston Butt

Cook: 6-8 hours

Yield: 6 servings


4lbs Pork Butt
1/2 cup Triad Meat Seasoning
or – other choice of seasoning


Season with favorite dry rub or try our Triad Meat house rub! Let season in fridge for  12-24 hours.

Take out of fridge for about 1 hour before cooking. 

Set oven to 400 degrees. 

Place butt in pan fat side up and place in oven uncovered. This will create a nice bark! 

After about 1 1/2 hours, reduce temperature to 300° and tent butt with foil. Let cook about 4 1/2 more hours. 

Remove from oven and let rest about 15-20 min so it is cool enough to handle. Then pull meat off the bone and enjoy!
